More Just Cause 3 Xbox One Screens Leaked Showing Microtransactions, Dev Hints Official Announcement Next Week
Earlier this week, some in-game screenshots of unannounced “Just Cause 3” (debug build) running on Xbox One were leaked on internet. Everything was okay from graphics/visuals (although it was from debug build, it looked pretty good) to lead character Rico and many other aspect. The only worrying factor was a glimpse of what appeared to be a microtransactions in the game.
This “microtransactions” report lead to speculation that Just Cause 3 might be a free-to-play title with microtransactions part scattered across the game, but a recent tweet from Avalance Studios’ Boss Christofer Sundberg has quashed this rumor. Sundberg clarified that Avalance has just one free to play game and it has been out since 2009.
We currently have ONE F2P game and it’s been out since 2009. I hope that helps you guys getting some sleep. Doesn’t change my opinion though

In another tweet, Sundberg hinted that the official announcement of Just Cause 3 might be just few days away.
Thank you everyone for your patience. Enjoy the silence for a couple of days now. You have nothing to worry about. Promise. 🙂
